Recognition of nature, seasons and yourself
Monthly lessons in Den Haag are designed for people who want to enjoy both seasons and the traditional Japanese art of calligraphy, Shodo [書道]. Lanka would love to introduce how Japanese people enjoy seasons through calligraphy, and the special terms and greetings that Japanese people use depending on the seasons.
In each lesson, you will learn how to draw characters efficiently. Lanka will teach the basics of Shodō for beginners step by step in the introductory lesson, so you do not need any prior experience or knowledge of the Japanese language. If you are very into the deep Japanese culture and language, these monthly lessons would be perfect for you.
All necessary tools are provided at the workshop. You just bring yourself and curiosity.
